Welcome to the Video Production Special Interest Group (SIG)
SIG Meetings are held at Moorabbin on the 2nd Monday of each month (except January) and start at 7.00 pm. Activities include helping you with your video production problems, what’s new and Q & A. Our Meetings usually end around 9:30 p.m.
At the February 2019 Meeting we had around 35 attendees and we demonstrated some free Software which we will be using in future demonstrations (the main product being Davinci Resolve)

The Agenda for Monday 11th March is as follows …
7:00 – Intro and Q&A Session – John Hall
7:15 – What’s New – John Hall
7:30 – Adding an artificial “Sign” and “Door” to your video via Photoshop – Richard Balsillie
7:50 – Automatically adding “Captions” to your Video – Richard Balsillie (plus questions)
8:15 – Tea/Coffee Break
8:30 – Basic Editing using Freeware (Virtualdub and Video Enhancer) – John Hall
9:00 – Getting started with DaVINCI Resolve –optimum PC Specs, initial set-up and program “Look and Feel” – Roger Wragg
Also after the Coffee Break there will be an opportunity for you to show your own footage on the big screen Projector at Moorabbin.
(Please bring your footage on a USB Memory stick so that we can load it on to our PC for Projection).
